Governor Mark Sanford went to Argentina to cry. He cried to his lover, Maria Belen Chapur. Who would believe him? Even after his wife, first lady of South Carolina, Jenny Sanford, found out about the affair, the governor continued to ask for permission to see the mistress. After he was kicked out of the house, he took his own chance to go see the woman in Argentina. He did all that without saying where he was going. He did it on father's day weekend. That is so much for family values!
At any rate, the public would like to see this woman's pictures to see if she is worth the headache the governor is getting. He has been on the trail of chasing skirts. Who would believe him if he said he never cheated before?
Any way, his wife is not going to trust him soon. He has some explaining to do.
